Springfield County is a rural county located in the far southeastern corner of Colorado. It borders the states of Oklahoma and New Mexico to the south, and Kansas to the east. Springfield is its largest city and county seat. Baca County is home of the Comanche National Grassland, and its economy is rooted in ranching and agriculture.
