El Paso County is located on Colorado's front range, in the east central part of the state. It is a very diverse county with Colorado Springs as its largest city and county seat. The county is best known for it's military bases (including being home to the Air Force Academy), stunning mountain scenery to the west and its numerous popular tourist attractions such as Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak and the U.S. Olympic Training Center.
